Falköga Tech Hub AB is now looking for a Senior developer / Tech Lead!
Abstract
Falköga Tech AB is a company that has switched focus from an accounting firm that also worked with software development to a software development company.
Falköga has founded the cloud-based program Agoy which is now sold to Fortnox. Now we have more projects going on (at least three) and looking for a person that can be the tech lead over those teams.
Agoy Bokslut & Skatt was created by the founder of Falköga, Carl-Magnus Falk, who together with the product specialist of Falköga made the app what it is today.
After the great success with Agoy, Falköga will now develop a number of new apps. We are looking for a senior developer who can take overall responsibility for the development of the apps with a focus on architecture, backend and database/data management. For the right person looking for the position, Falköga offers co-ownership in all projects.
The coding has NOT yet started, but the projects are ”more” than started, among other things the requirements specification has started. We prefer to see this position filled before we start developing the projects.
We are looking for employment, not a consulting position.
About you
You have experience in developing cloud-based applications (SaaS, multi-tenant) in a structured and systematic way. Ideally you built already a product from scratch, or at least early stage to large scale.
You take ownership and responsibility of what you build and product as a whole. You are ready to learn new technologies and you are not afraid to speak your mind and help us make the right calls regarding technology, architecture and processes. You are happy to share your experiences.
You like working in a high paced environment with invested product owners and constructive dialogue within the team.
We are looking for you with 10 years of experience in the field. You must also have a great knowledge of architecture.
Key responsibilities
At Falköga Tech AB you will take part in planning and decision making regarding the future development of the application. We invite you to make some of the hard tech related calls based on your experience of scaling web applications. You will lead the development programs being part of the product.
Here are some of the day-to-day tasks you can expect:

Discuss and define system architecture and design, make sure it fits with the rest of the product.

Work break-down and estimates.

Implement user stories, help colleagues, review pull requests.

Update documentation, follow processes, etc. etc.
Requirements
Node.js, React.js and TypeScript. We expect a solid understanding of web development with aforementioned technology. Startup mentality means (in our language) taking ownership and responsibility of parts of the code and product as a whole.
Beneficial (but not necessary) if you have a fin-tech/accounting background and have a solid understanding of Microsoft Excel (most of the requirements/business logic comes as Excel workbooks).
Also beneficial if you have experience working with AWS.
